Heather is a native of Atlanta, where she trained and performed with Norma's Academy of Dance, The Atlanta Ballet Centre of Dance, and Total Dance/Dancical Productions, Inc. In 2009, she received her BFA in Dance from Florida State University, which gave her the opportunity to perform works by Jawole Willa Jo Zollar and Gerri Houlihan; study abroad in Castiglioncello, Italy in the Pro Danza Italia program; as well as obtain an arts administration internship/fellowship with the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography. Heather is a former member of Dallas Black Dance Theatre II and has performed works by Ray Mercer, Christopher Huggins, and Derrick Minter.
