Born in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, at 17 years of age Jesse started out in musical theater at Nazarath Area High School of Performing Arts landing roles in such hits as Hello Dolly, The Music Man, and South Pacific. A 2005 graduate from Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts, Jesse continued his training and passion for the arts and became more focused on ballet and modern dance, sending him to study in Miami, Florida at New World School of the Arts and Momentum Dance Company. Jesse had the privilege of learning and performing works by master choreographers' Jose Limón, Peter London and Robert Battle. In 2007, Jesse migrated to New York City where he received a Fellowship to study at the Ailey School under the tutelage of Dudley Williams, Ana Marie Forsythe and Tracy Inman. Most recently, Jesse received a Contemporary Traditions Program Scholarship for Jacob's Pillow Summer Intensive under the leadership of Master Horton Teacher Milton Myers. Jesse is also thrilled to add legendary choreographer Martha Graham's [Secular Games] and Donald McKayle's [Games] to his list of performed repertoire.
